You will need to be 16 + years old. And provide all relevant information on enrolment. I will provide Manuals and products for the practical part of the course on your training day. I can advise where to buy products from. Or on request, provide a starter kit. At the end of your course, you will receive an accredited Diploma certificate. This course is the foundation to all nail treatments. And is required before you can progress onto other nail treatments. WHAT WILL YOU LEARN? - Hygiene You will learn the basic hygiene rules within the industry. How to prevent cross contamination and infection. Methods of Sterilisation and sanitisation. - Health and safety legislations We will cover risk assessment, how to protect the care of those within the workplace. - Preparation, Products, and tools We will cover which products and tools, that will be needed to complete your manicure. Preparation of your workspace and how to fill out client record cards. - Nail Anatomy We will cover the nail anatomy. And their purposes. - Nail disorders How to recognise any nail disorders. What is safe to work on, and what will need medical attention. - Manicure treatment How to file the natural nail professionally. The different nail shapes. Cuticle work and buffing. Luxury and basic manicure. Massage of the fingers and hands. Polish application. - Aftercare How to get the best out of your treatment. A digital manual in this subject will be supplied via email for you to refer to during and after the course. Paper copies are available by request
